Orion SSAG Pro, Lunt LS50THa, 1/2500sec (2.5ms), 1200 frames (600 for disk, 600 for proms), Orion Atlas Tracking Mount, PixInsight, Lightroom
Please view in shadowbox WARNING: This image was created by using a specialized solar scope. Never use conventional equipment to view or photograph the sun! I took another crack at the sun, this time with a hydrogen alpha telescope. The air was not very clear for seeing, and the sun was not particularly active, but I was able to capture some small prominences around the edge of the disk. So much to learn about focus, capture and processing! Chris White
