Solon Falls

I took this image on a dreamy holiday in Maine during the new year.  These falls are on the Kennebec River, and it is said that George Washington set up camp here after portaging the falls.  Currently there is a dam there that was constructed by the lumber industry.

I like it too.
Great looking water, nice B&W conversion.
I also love to see a tighter shot of the falls themselves.

This is one of those images that doesn't look as good against a white background and looks great against a dark background. Cool shot.
