Looks like everyone is getting a hug. Tough light indeed but I think you carried this off well. Have you played with Dehaze in Lightroom? Might give the BG a bit more definition. This doesn't look like you used a polarizer which would be a capture way of knocking down some of the reflected glare. >=))>

I really like this...the cool rocks, the detail.
The harsh light in the top left lets it down unfortunately.
It would be neat to see this one again with different lighting/sky conditions.

I am using LR 5. I do not think this version has Dehaze.... *sigh*.... thank you very much for the tip/suggestion.

Yes I want to get back there later in the day, but the hike back would be difficult as it would be getting dark. I won't mention the rattlesnakes with this warmer weather upon us :shock:
