Doug: Love the silhouettes and the sky color especially. I'm on the fence regarding the sun position and the strip of river on the bottom although the river does establish a sense of place that does work for me. >=))>

Thanks, Bill. Originally, I had the water almost black, but decided making it lighter gave the dark bank more of a purpose, rather than just a dark foreground.

Gorgeous shot and composition. I think, personally, I would have preferred the sun to be placed just inside the tree rather than having the tree overlap it.

Love the silhouettes and the colors.
Sun placement....well, yes I would also have preferred it in the tree.
What does distract me a bit are the blurred grasses in the right part of the image.
