Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP

Dragons are said to inhabit the north wall of the canyon. I felt it was safe to shoot them from this distance. I left the small strip of scrub forest at the top to give some sense of scale. The abstract possibilities here are just about limitless. All comments welcome. >=))

I am glad you left a bit of the top for scale because it makes it shows the grandeur of the side. Makes me a little dizzy! :)

Really cool! Personally, I almost wonder if it wouldn't be better as a complete abstract by eliminating the top vegetation altogether.

This is so cooooool!
I like the top trees in place as it does give a sense of scale to this....but as EJ suggested, another version of this would be an abstract with the top cropped off.
Either way...I like this.

The formation, with its intrusions are spectacular ,at first, I thought I was looking at a close-up of a rock layer. If you had a long lens you would have captured some great abstract images.
