Shore Acres SP, Oregon

The Oregon coast is our #1 favorite place on the planet so for our 30th anniversary in November my wife and I indulged ourselves with a long weekend trip to Yachats. On one of our days there a high surf warning coincided with a predicted high tide. We decided to drive down to Shore Acres hoping to see a surf show like I've seen depicted in images I've seen from this spot. We were not disappointed! Waves like this crashed ashore for a couple of hours. I got tired of trying to time them and decided to just let the A77's 12 FPS do the work. This was one of the biggest waves as it easily exploded out of the frame. One bucket list item fulfilled. All comments welcome.>=))>

Great timing...kudos to the A77.
The big picture here is thirty years. It is in many ways an extraordinary accomplishment. Continued success to you both .

Congrats on your milestones and bucket list. This is quite dramatic. I notice the seagull in the upper right. Shows how huge the splash is!

That's powerful!!!  Love the lone gull to give some scale here.
I wish the top of the wave splash was not cut off though....
