From our visit to the Tetons last September. I had 2 great mornings in the park, this one from the the well known Oxbow Bend looking towards Mt Moran as the early morning light starts to light the mountain.

Andrew: One of my favorite places on the planet superbly captured in really nice light and conditions. I like that the water isn't completely smooth and the effect that produces on the reflection. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

A beautiful capture, love the warm light hitting MT Moran. Now, I would have preferred still water and a mirror like reflection, but since that was out of your hands, this will do nicely.

Fantastic light on Moran!!!....love it.
The water?....well I've been in that situation many times....yes, it is out of your control....But I quite like the slight ripples here.
Something about the comp causes me to think that I'd want a more pano view here with more on each side given you have Moran in the center...yet of course you don't want to cut off the reflection either.

Thanks John....don't worry, I took many, many more including full panoramas of the whole scene!

Very interesting light on MT Moran. I like the fact that the sky behind is not pink as in many shots. Traditionalists will like smoother water, but this is a more unique presentation. You couldn't control that anyway. Nice job.

Classic view! Good to see that tiny glacier isn't gone yet.
