Great Sand Dunes NP

One of my New Year's resolutions is to start posting on NSN. Sand dunes are favorite subjects for me and so decided to make this my initial post. Taken at dawn on a trip in late 2014. The subtle colors of the diffraction caused by the sun rising above the mountains to the east were fleeting and caught my eye. All comments welcome. >=))>

Welcome to NSN! Cool image -- I like the 'S'-curve of the dune and the subtle gradations of color. (By the way, please have a look at Tips for Pasting Text.)

Those are subtle imperfections in the dune wall in the BG. I left them as is although cloning them out would be relatively simple.

A lovely harmonious flow of shapes and colors, like the sweep of a magical paint brush. Beautiful! And welcome!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure, when cutting and pasting text as you have done here, you remove all of the formatting flags so that the text can be read. You can do that by clicing on the little piece of paper icon on the right at the top of the text entry box.
