Lake of the Clouds Fall Color

Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains State PArk in Upper Michigan.

Hopefully the color will be like this this weekend when we go up there.

Canon EOS-1V, EF300mm 2.8L IS, EF2X, Provia

This might benefit from a touch of contrast - the midtones seem a little flat. But that's a whole lot of fall color! I really like the sense of depth and repetition here. Looks like there might be snow up in the UP this weekend...

I agree the colors seem a bit flat. I wish I could see all the detail that I know is in the slide.

Ditto about the color and contrast here, but the scene is great when you look beyond that. Please give this a touch up in PS and post it again! That carpet of trees is amazing - never seen anything like it!
