Motif: Crashing Wave at Seal Rocks, OR

Taken @ Seal Rocks SP on the Oregon coast. I was perched atop some rocks in the tidepool shooting these crashing waves as the tide rolled in. By the time I was finished, I had to wade back in thigh-deep water.

This is wonderful!! I really like it when images work really well in bright sun light. This is such an image. Great powerful action too!

The wading part sounds a bit dangerous though, particularly in a strong surf...

That's one powerful looking wave - nicely framed by the rocks and the blue sky above.
