Tonight's sunset from behind the smoke of a forest fire burning in the Jemez mountains west of Santa Fe. We have two fires going to the east and west of us right now. Please click on image.

Great capture. The trail of fire starting at the sun and leading to the right between the cloud and the mountains makes this special.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Wonderful! Smoke from forest fires often make for wild sunrise/set shots, even when the fires are hundreds of miles away. Being close enough to see the smoke makes it even more dramatic.
