Motif: Vista Pass

This week's motif inspired me to re-scan a photo from a backpacking trip last summer in Wyoming's Wind River range. The white speck near the center of the sky is actually the moon. Nikon N65, 28-100 f/3.5-5.6 G, Fuji Superia print film, harsh mid-day light. Thanks for your critiques, and reposts welcome.

Nice shot. I'd bet it would look better in softer warmer light. Great reflection.

Imagine this composition shot at sunset with some orange alpenglow on the mountain. That and a little crop off of the bottom is what I would like to see.

Yes, I wish I could have stayed there for better light, but we had to keep moving because of weather and schedule issues. :(
