The color is just starting up north - another 2 weeks and it'll be quite nice (if a bit subdued due to lack of rain).

Cloned out a bit of dust, levels, saturation, USM in PS.

I'm wondering if the lens flare in the upper middle ruins it or not?

Hi Matt, This is nicely done. I like the results of the really slow shutter speed. The flare is a bit distracting to me. (If you had not identified it as flare, it would have confused the heck out of me...)

My eye is imediately drawn to the lens flare but if I ignore that, I really like this shot a lot.

This is a very pretty shot. If you can successfully clone out the flare, you have a winner here.
