Tens of thousands of Tundra swans over-winter at the Pocosin Lakes NWR in North Carolina, along with even more Snow Geese.

This area is also home to one of the largest concentrations of black bears in the south.

I just love the mood of this image. Please let me know what you think.

Great colors. The swan elements at the top with the bottom color are well balanced. The bushes are a bit distracting and break the horizon a bit too much in my book.

Cheers

I love the flock and the overall mood of the image. I'm undecided about the vegetation at the bottom. Gorgeous color.

I agree with you about the mood of this shot. It does have a very sweet feel to it.

I'm not sure about the vegitation either particularly when it merges with the opposite shore. But you still have a very pretty image here.

Great shot, Juan! I live how the birds at the top of the image have more motion blurr. And the way the birds form a nice arc in the sky is so gentle on the eyes. Excellent!
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
