Same subject as my last post. Which composition do you prefer?

I appreciate both positive and negative feedback so please hammer on!

The composition is nicely balanced between the bright sun and the darker shrubbery. I also like the slight feelingof depth. I wish the outlines of the plants on the lower left were cleaner.

I probably prefer the simplicity of the previous shot but like the placement of the sun more in to the frame in this one.

cheers,
Eric

I like how the image goes from solid black to solid white as you move from the lower right to the upper left. Really well done!

I like this one better. The other one was too simple for me.

Interesting...very minimal. I like it. Just checked the other one...I do prefer this version.

Anders,

I did not care much for the previous composition and so I did not post a comment, but I really like this one very much. a very clam feeling is evident in the image. I love the lines in this composition and the sublte shadows and the mute lighting. I think this image is really good. I love just looking at it.

I also prefer this one; it feels much more balanced, both compositionally and on gradations of light. It also does not rely so much on any single element, while retaining its simplicity.
