I've wanted some "wet rocks" for a long time and finally got 'em last July! This was shot within an hour of yesterday's companion image, just several feet from the same spot at Beaver Bay, Minnesota's North Shore, overlooking Lake Superior. The constant drizzle, mist, and pervading wetness continued all afternoon, and created a miserable situation for working with 4x5 for closeup work. I got several different shots of "wet rocks" on the beach, of which I like this one best.

Danny, i love it. Now this could be just me, but the rock lr corner is really pulling my eye towards it. Your thoughts?

Very nice. The 'wet look' really brings out the colors nicely.

Nice scene. You did well to avoid stong reflections. The red tones pop from the black and grey.

Beautiful image, love the contrast of the redish stones against the darker stones. However I also find the rock at the bottom pulling my eye towards it.

Very attractive image. I know a polarizer could cut the reflections down even more but I don't know if that would improve the image or kill it.

Very nice, I like how you balanced the colored rocks throughout the image.
