This was a specatcular spring in Gorman and the Antelope Valley. Shot from roadside. I was captured by the different colors of flowers on the slopes and contours of the hills

Yes, sweet it is. The cloud provides a perfect counter balance to the hills. If I was picking nits, I might crop a little off the bottom to get rid of the somewhat scrubby area in the lower right.

Very nice. I have heard that the spring wildflowers in So. California were exceptional this year. Thanks for sharing this image with us.

Steve,

This is very beautiful! Those colors are amazing. The cloud complements the composition very well!

Wonderful color! I agree with the suggestion to crop a touch off the bottom, but it's very nice either way.

I looked at the suggestion of cropping off the bottom and I do not agree. That would remove the yellow flowers leading from the lower left corner into the image. For printing or art work, I could clone out the LR, but for this, it is as it was and I could not get that composition without leaving the rough area on the LR. Per request, here is the image without the frame.

There's only one thing that could convince me that there is a more beautiful place than the Arctic, and that must be the poppy fields of California!

I never knew it was this extreme. Thanks for sharing this Dr. Bein! Totally awesome!
