Route 100, Vermont

While I have a number of slides of fall foliage, I never seem to get around to scanning them. Please forgive me if you've seen this before.

Greg and I were driving around Vermont for fall foliage last year, which peaked very late and was absolutely splendid throughout most of the state. The scene of this small waterway was hidden from view from the road but I saw part of the stream further up and turned around to go back.

Nikon F5, Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 AF, 81a warming filter, Fuji Velvia (likely pushed one stop), tripod.

I am really trying to work on my landscape photography and appreciate any comments you are willing to offer. Thanks.

Very nice Heather, one thing i might try is to burn the centered rock in a little bit. Looks just a little bit white(ish) which happens to me everytime i shoot them. Love the fall colors and reflections in the water. Also the slight curve taking me into the image and aroung the bend, very nice image!!

Very nice shot, Heather. Well composed and lovely color. I could imagine this on some Vermont magazine cover.

Simply lovely, Heather...excellent composition.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
