An oldie but a favorite.

Rapids upstream from Bond Falls in Upper Michigan.

The Fall Motif doesn't start for another hour for me but I don't feel like staying up till past 12 tonight...

Ken,

I like this a lot!
A great 'S' curve! Nice reflections. The white stripes of the flowing water really make it sing!

You know that this is one of my favorites of yours. I'll have to think of some interesting variations on it next month :D

Indeed a wonderful combination of colors and composition.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

I am quickly getting over my boredom with waterfall shots this morning thanks to this and Danny's image. There's nothing about this that I don't like!

Waterfall shots aren't typically my "cup of tea" but I concur with Anders that this one does really sing, for the reasons already mentioned, the S curve and all those white lines. What I find most fascinating though is the slope of the water just before the ledge.

I'm generally not too interested in waterfall shots but I don't consider this or Danny's waterfall shots. They're just great photos. Well done with the mirror like reflections and the falls not being too soft.

I agree with the others -- the curve sets this one apart. The colors are nice too.
