Another aerial shot with, luckily a clean window. Shot with a 10D, 28-135IS, at meter then adjusted in PS. This is a Southwest image to be sure.
The "Banning Pass" is also known by another name, which I don't know. ON the near side is Mt San Gorgonia and the far, Mt San Jacinto. Between in the pass is I-10 and to the left in the haze is Palm Springs. This is one of the best images and actually the clearest day I remember when taking this northern line on final to LAX.
Usually we are above I-10 and both peaks are not visible together.

This is cool and I really like the colors.

Steve, were you using a polarizer? I can see some stress lines in the plastic window which a polarizer enhances. For those of you wanting to do aerial photography, if you need to shoot through plastic windows, avoid using a polarizer

Nice image but I see the same lines. Possibly they can be taken out.

Nice shot. I like the mountain visible in the BG. Good composition considering tht you only had a small window to look thru.

Nice shot, Steve. You're right, though I see planes going over the mountains all the time it does seem like we go between on most trips.

I still want the window seat next time. ;-)

I too like this one better than the other.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
