Howdy Mike. Just trying to catch up here, been away for a few days on work. Love the lighting on the bird and the background is excellent !!!. Love that effect. Can you do me a favour and post in here exactly the same shot, but the moon turned to a grey scale or maybe even a dull yellow. Slightly more golden if you can. Just want to see a comparison M8t.

All the best Mike, excellent effects in this one.

Beautiful, unusual image. The yellow moon is a great suggestion.

(When I left the hospital the early morning after my second son's birth there was the thinest new moon in the sky. Whenever we see a new moon now we call it a "Danny Moon", so sorry, the name is taken! )

Paul and Mike.......you moon who....what :D 8)

Ahh that second moon is perfect Mike !!. It gives that glow that reflects the colours, mood and lighting in that bird and tree. Love it Mike and thanks for that. Still can't get over how that back ground effect makes this 3D in a way. Excellent work M8t. 12 out of ten :D

I have to agree that the golden moon is just right for my tastes with the tones of the rest of the image Mike! I love the composition, lighting and overall 'feel' of this creation and the depth you've portrayed. 8) 8) 8) 8) :D
