Macrosphere

Sometimes late at night, a PS addict will doze off looking at a sub-standard image, and when
he wakens something like this is on the screen -- nobody knows why... :shock: The original image
is a 4:1 macro of peonie anthers. Comments, critiques and reposts welcomed :)

I'm sure you're right -- I looked at a color shift for the "droplet" but couldn't seem to get it right, though I didn't think of a purplish cast.

The "ball" effect comes from filter/distort/spherize. I used a couple of other layers to simulate the optical effect...

Gary, this is sweet as presented. Love the two tones of the primary focus and subject both outside and inside the droplet. Wouldnt change a thing!
