This image started life as a rather ordinary macro of a water droplet on
an azalea bud. Suggestions, critique and reposts are most welcome... :)

thanks very much Greg -- I used selective color to replace the original magenta, sharpened a bit with using a duplicate layer/high pass filter and blended using vivid light, erased everything but the drop from that layer, flattened the layers, made a final brightness/contrast adjustment, and finally filter/artistic/poster edges @2/1/2. Time about 20 min.
