Taken in 2014! I

I use several techniques, including a bit of ORTON effect, Topaz Impression, and...an experiment. The bird was perched on a metal tube, so I used PS Ai to create the branch. I had to modify it quite a bit, and I'm not entirely pleased with the result, but there it is. I would never  call this "original" , even the source photo with this branch, though I suspect it has been done quite a bit these days. Hopefully not here at NSN!

Beautifully done Cindy. Has a lovely feel to it. A lot of work and to be truthful, I wouldn't know about the tube without reading your notes. The main thing, is it has a tremendously warm feel and emotive quality and works in all regards.

Very clever! The end result is beautiful and I would never have guessed that perch wasn't original. The bird is well captured and the detail with that lovely bright eye is excellent. Well done, Cindy.

Great idea and effect, Cindy. I wouldn't mind seeing this species around here more often.
