Part of my recent encounters with our resident Fox.  FF image.  Shot with the Z7II and Nikon Z 100-400S.
Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thanks for looking and hope all well.

No sign of any kits yet.  (edit... she came in tonight and I watched her wander off.  Followed her from a distance and found that she seems to reside in a corner of a children's playground.   The grass is very, very dry and she'd moved off long before I got there, but a faint, trodden trail was a beeline to a corner with fox scent evident. Indicating her den area... tricky for a variety of reasons.   -  I now have the possibility to have more environmental shots, but need to be very early am, or late pm , which would be my normal preference, otherwise, in a children's play area, I might attract attention  no one wants... )

So sweet in her sleepy mode. It will be interesting to see further developments. I'm surprised she isn't bothered by the playground children. Lovel rendering-so peaceful in the grass.

Lovely portrait - not the best location for her den - by the sounds of it - you certainly don't want any unwarranted attention.

They always look so peaceful sleeping, as your lovely image shows. Please do not be seen taking photos anywhere near a children's play area - it isn't worth the risk of your attentions being misconstrued - and if you had to explain that you were there to see a fox, then it would expose her to unwanted attention. Either way it could be trouble for you and her!

Thanks Carol and Peter  Appreciate your thoughts Carol.  The childrens playground are meant to be safe areas and will remain so.  I’ve no desire to ruin it for our fox either.   Besides, I’m out for a nice wood setting.   Hope that makes sense
