Impending doom would be another word for it. The impressive details really shine when clicked. Good choice of "treatment".

I like how you've combined something glowing and beautiful (perhaps the "angel"), and at the same time, something ominous and a bit frightening (death). Somehow I see the angelic in this more than the fearfulness. However it is interpreted, it's an amazing creation! Marvelous background!

I love what you've done with this, but like Cindy, I find it hard to see the fearfulness in a beautiful creature acting naturally - unless you're a vole or mouse...........  Interpretation is a very personal and unique thing, Dave! 

Well done on the finished artwork.  A beauty!

Awesome use of clarity and perceived motion David - the vivid colors really capture the eye and then draws the viewer to the contrast of the subject - well done!
