I'm not sure about the posting section: I mainly changed the black point to obtain the desired result (so nothing special) but at the same time it's not a "classic" photo of a swan...

Anyway: feedbacks and comments are really welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

Interesting effect -It fits your idea of light from dark very well. Perhaps a bit less black would serve the purpose as well, and feature the swan a bit more. Very nice idea.

A very bold minimalistic view which works really well. As an alternative, I also agree with Cindy that a touch less black expanse and a slightly closer swan would give another very striking frame.

Regarding the dark space: I think that the amount of black is subject to personal sensibility. An optimist would probably like to see less black and a bigger swan so, as you understand, I'm a diversely optimist :)
