Based on an image I captured in 2017 while waiting for a ferry to Vancouver Island. I observed a couple of Black Oystercatchers for about 30 minutes and finally got this one with its back to the surf behind. All Photoshop...

Super shot and treatment Neil. Like the way the rocks and pebbles look like mini mountain ranges.
Make your life spectacular!

Excellent work! Very much like a woodcut print-nice textures and contrasts. You must have had fun with this one. :)

The more I look at this, the more I like it, Neil! Further to what Dave said about the mini mountain ranges - I see the same form in rocks, pebbles, water - and the oystercatcher - everything in perfect harmony. That is so clever and the image as a whole works so beautifully! Very clever, and beautifully done.

Carol.

Thanks to all of you, I really like like reading your comments/reactions... Oh, and yes Cynthia, I had a lot of fun with this one, I got reacquainted with some Photoshop tools I haven't used in years!
