A trip to the SW is not complete without capturing the dramatic landscape or the gorgeous sunsets. And few places match the drama of the Bosque. Infact as the golden hour sets in, its colorful all around and its hard to stay focussed to one spot. As they say "always look behind"  and i saw this huge colorful cloud with the sandhill cranes flying away. Focussing on the flying cranes i composed for this image and it was a moment of joy.

A beautiful and artistic image, Ramesh. Perfect placement and the sky is magical. Well done!

Good thing you turned around! Lovely colors and beautiful iconic birds in flight. Love the minimalist feel of this.
