A few years ago, this vegetation at Yellowstone caught my attention. I liked the red/green color combination and the diagonal line of the growth. Made the image with Nikon gear, and used Topaz Simplify for this version. Please click on the image to view it full size. Thank you.

Wonderful color and patterns Ron. I can see how you were attracted to this as a more abstract version, almost like vivid splashes of paint. Beautiful design and transformation. It has a lively feel to it, sort of dancing around. :)

I agree with Cynthia, really a beautiful vision.

A lovely strong combination of colours with the red and green theme, the painterly effects are just right - not too much or too little. There is a distinct feeling of motion throughout the scene, like everything is stirred by a gentle breeze. Beautifully done! I love it, Ron!

Visually, this is the strongest colour combo with red on green. Works a treat. As Carol said too, a sense of motion flows through the image. Put it all together, and we have a treat for us.

I have to admit I walk right by situations like this in the Fall on my way to a destination. It's a great lesson on smelling the roses along the way. Nicely seen and beautiful work with Topaz to turn it into this impressionist, colorful Fall scene.
