Totally different look than I've tried before.  Suggestions?

I like it.
Just the right amount of detail.

The texture on the swan is lovely. Reminds me of Topaz Glow. Love the close-in view of the swan’s head on what I presume is its wing. The curve of the neck is classic. Beautifully done!

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not fond of this type of application. That said, you did beautifully with this- very elegant post, nice simple background (I like the curvy line), and the eye is just right. Overall, excellent!

Like Cindy, I'm not normally a fan of Fractalius type conversions - with very few exceptions (like Ron's wonderful Pelican!) but I do like what you have achieved here with the minimum of lines necessary to keep the classic swan neck shape. So I can honestly say, I like it, Diana!

Thanks for the input! No other treatment of this swan seemed to work but I also liked the overall simplicity.
