You're definitely developing your very own, individual style with these wonderful environmental artworks, Dave!  They make quite magical settings that provide perfect backgrounds for your wildlife subjects, whatever they may be. 8)

Carol summed it up perfectly. You are developing your own unique style, Dave. I love how you maintain the form and detail in your subject and treat the background areas which most often look like paintings to me. Beautifully done!

Agree with Carol and Ron that you have a wonderful individual style. My taste tends towards traditional images and I was very impressed with your high resolution original of this image. As far as my taste goes, as they say "there's no accounting for taste, lol". One thing for sure.......if not for your impeccable originals your artwork images would not have the impact that they do. Well done.

Thank you very much Warren.  Really appreciate the feedback.  Not quite sure how to say this, but the current images are largely driven by being locked up so am self analysing where I am now, and where I want to be.

Again, many thanks for your sincere thoughts.  Means a great deal..

Neat treatment, wonderful light and I like the purposeful vignetting.

I really think you could write a story book with this series, Dave. You've created a different world for these animals and as everyone has noted, an original style that is very appealing. I like how the giraffe is gazing at the ominous bush, and how the giraffe stands out in the light. The whitish brush in the foreground almost looks like a fire.
Stay well and keep on truckin' (I hope you are well? )
