This is wonderful, Diana. I love the textures and background and the warm colors. The eye is delightful. It has a nice feel to it overalI. I do wonder if the klipspringer looks a bit "cut out"- perhaps it could be softened a bit around the head where it looks outlined? Or perhaps that is intentional. Is this a composite?

Thanks for your feedback Cindy. I agree that it looks cut out. I used several treatments on different layers and then with masks combined them. The background is very busy hence the reason I was trying to do something creative instead of use it as a nature shot. I will work on it a bit more! Thanks again for the feedback!

You know, it takes bravery to put out our creations here, and I think it's a great opportunity to get feedback-I always appreciate it myself. I'm glad you are OK with this too-some people are offended...

This piece has plenty of potential, and the beauty of this kind of work is how easy it is to experiment with different combinations. Have fun with it!!

I like the three-dimensional effect and beautiful brown tones through out the image. This is such a handsome species!

When I look at this it has the appearance of marquetry work!  I can see the thin layers of cut out wood carefully fitted together to create the overall picture and design.    Fascinating how a photo and your creative enhancements can so successfully give that impression!  :)
