Spotted this Moose while I was in Fairy Land.  In Europe they are Elk. Darn long way from my home, that Fairy Land.

Just having a bit of fun.  Hope all safe.  Please feel free to view uncompressed.

Just love the sounds they make.  So soft and soothing.  Almost surreal.

Such a handsome boy, Dave! Love the sidelight and the way it illuminates the moose and the background habitat. The texture you used on the ground is lovely and really adds to the image. Great job!!! :D

The light-coloured tree trunks works very well as a background for the darker moody foreground and moose. The moose looks like he is curious about something.. Nice work.

Nice pose and the sidelight gives a beautiful depth to the overall scene as it catches the moose and the background trees. A click on the high rez version really shows the detail around the eye - that isn't quite so obvious in the compressed version, which seems a touch dark on the shadow side of the head. That's my only tiny nit in this lovely frame, Dave!

This guy really glows! Must see high rez! I like his "attitude- especially now that you've mentioned what he was intent upon! ;). I like the general feel of this -the rather ethereal mood and shimmering woods. Agree with Carol, just a tad dark. But still very appealing.

I have never seen a moose in real life, this beautiful subject,
thanks to this elaboration, seems to live in a fairy place.

Awesome treatment here!
Had one young guy and his mamma visit our back yard last winter.
