Great shot of the owl in the archway – it really provides a nice feeling of depth to the scene. Beautiful color and excellent texture throughout the image. And the feathers on its back give it an appearance of "royalty." Excellent work, Dave! :)

The owl is beautifuly anyway, but the idea of framing it in a frame within a frame is very clever! They do love to hunt through old buildings and ruins, and this is a very apt composition and beautifully artworked! Well done, Dave.

Great setting, Dave! This gives the owl a rather regal look, for some reason-maybe the shape of the opening. It works beautifully- love the textures and owl look-back. I guess Ron has a similar feeling about it. I am realy enjoying this one-perhaps my new favorite, though I really love them all.

Very nice on all accounts. As it seems with all of your Topaz images the original must have been top notch as well.

+1  I like the orange/yellow tones and the patterns in the frame and feathers. The large version is beautiful.
