Not to be taken too seriously, but was reminded recently it is a bit of fun playing with Topaz Glow so thought to play tonight.   Variety of Glow algorithms and some blending with layers.

Nikon kit.  Hope all well.

GGOwls are such amazing birds and the light on this one is beautiful, especially with the snowy setting. The feathers look so soft you can almost feel them, while the golden eye and beak leads me to that wonderful far away gaze. Beautifully done, Dave!

Such a nice mood you've created here-interesting to note that although the owl is still, there is also a sense of motion in the feathers and snow. That eye is amazing-glad you left it intact. A rather wistful look, overall- beautifully done!

This surely was an excellent original photograph. The composition, lighting and exposure are spot on. Love the textures you created with Topaz Glow, particularly on the owl's body and in the background. I too like the sharp eye, and the hint of habitat you created in the background. A very creative and beautiful piece, Dave! :)

First of all, this looks to be a great original image. The eye and beak, being left intact, brought me directly to it's face and then as I looked at the overall body I was left with the impression that it was a slightly breezy day as it's feather's were being ruffled. Lot's to look at in this image which makes it quite unique and very interesting.
