Someone rolled the green paint over this one! Nice colors and an interesting variation. Not quite sure what I think- have to contemplate for a while. Hmmm. I am getting to like it, after the shock. ;). A bit other-worldly, almost like a mythical creature, perhaps. Good for you! Stepping out into the ether....well done!

A move from your norm, perhaps, but a great image nonetheless, Dave. Irrespective of all of our individual tastes, I see a lot to like in this image: neat scratching pose, good composition, handsome buck, and nice use of color and texture. What is not to like? I remember your posting a very similar image in Wildlife, and that it was awarded an EP. It is very creative, and I very much like the image for what it is! :)

David;
I think I need a new monitor....everything has gone greenish...Your wife may be onto something...lol
Seriously....it's neat and it's different...but I think might work better with more earth tone colours.

The only thing I can't get my head round is the green colour.  If it was shades of light blue, it could be a frosty morning palette, or deeper blue, a moonlight palette.  I do love the original image, or I wouldn't have put it forward for an EP - its just this greenish colour that doesn't float my boat.  :)   Your wife obviously has good taste.............she picked you, didn't she?......... :wink:
