I was trying to take the Peacock dancing with its feathers opened up like a fan. But once we got close it started to run. I managed to capture this one showing its long tail folded. I decide to give it the Oil Paint filter effect in PS.

I like the texture provided by the painting filter, which is readily visible in the high resolution image. The pano format works well with the length of the peacock's tail. The open beak is a neat feature, and the color of the peacock is beautiful.

This is very nice-the background/foreground shows a sense of motion, and the peacock stands out in beautiful detail. The open beak seems to indicate some sort of determination to zip along at a great pace. I like to panp crop- very appropriate.

A peacock at full gallop! I love the sense of motion - and this is beautifully underlined by the flowing tail streaming along behind!
