Continuing exploration of my previous Lion images with blends from Topaz to change their presentations.  Sort of have a handful of algorithms I prefer and alternate based on subject and feel as to what is used.

Have enclosed a link to a High Rez but must add, that sadly, Flickr recently cottoned on and reduced  image size anyway.

Hope all safe.

Wow, Dave, talk about beauty – you nailed it with this handsome piece. It is all about the face and mane, and your treatment of both is outstanding. Not to mention the excellent composition. Large view is killer. Bravo!!! :D

I have to agree with Ron on all counts, Dave!  You've absolutely got the texture and feel of the hide/hair/mane and the wind blowing through is portrayed beautifully.  Brilliant portrait with that ''really alive'' appeal.  Love it!!   :P

Wow...Best one yet!
Love how your treatment accentuates the feel of the wind blowing through his mane.
I also appreciate how what you have done to this still retains that majestic pose and gaze.

Sincere thanks Ron.

Difficult to provide an adequate response, but without yours, Cindy's, John's and Carol's encouragement, and all the moderators,  we would not be encouraged to show our images and contribute to the whole.

We all gain, but it is a direct result of all your efforts and continued commitment which I understand and appreciate.

Just want to say my thanks to you all.
