I'm not sure about the misty look, David, but it looks a nice image. Would love to see it au naturale!
Regards,

Des

Love your treatment, Dave. A great scene enhanced by the detail left in the face of the lioness. I remember when you posted this fine image in Wildlife. It remains a beauty today. Excellent, creative work. :D

You really are mastering your technique, and it suits your subjects so well!  The only tiny improvement I can think of for this one would be a smidge more texture showing on her body hair, its almost (IMHO) as if she is a tiny bit too smooth? but that's just me, and I do love it as is, Dave.

Hi Dave

Bravo for experimenting with so many lovely effects. this one has a certain storybook charm-I love the way the background came out. Her regal pose is beautiful as well. I think I would agree with Carol about perhaps giving the lioness just a bit more texture/hair. But overall a very fine rendition.

Thanks Carol and Cindy.  Good shout that.  (Opened it up a bit on the face and shoulders, but you are right....looking at the image had been nagging at me for a bit, with a feeling of not quite there).

Thanks. much appreciated
