Love the vibrant color throughout the image and the beautiful texture on the elephants. Also, I really like color on the elephants. There are the traditional brown/gray tones, but the glowing burnt orange tones are striking and bring the image to life. The poses, with trunks above and below, are excellent. Brilliant image, Dave.

I love how the wavy lines echo the motion of the elephants- my first thought was how playful this looks and how joyful-and such pleasing color. I'm thinking children's book illustration....! This makes me very happy to look at.

Love the vibrant colour, and I agree on the book illustration idea, and although I prefer your previous techniques for animal images, this one certainly captures the feeling of the motion between these two sparring youngsters, Dave!
