Love the vibrant color throughout the image and the beautiful texture on the elephants. Also, I really like color on the elephants. There are the traditional brown/gray tones, but the glowing burnt orange tones are striking and bring the image to life. The poses, with trunks above and below, are excellent. Brilliant image, Dave. :D

I love how the wavy lines echo the motion of the elephants- my first thought was how playful this looks and how joyful-and such pleasing color. I'm thinking children's book illustration....! This makes me very happy to look at.

Love the vibrant colour, and I agree on the book illustration idea, and although I prefer your previous techniques for animal images, this one certainly captures the feeling of the motion between these two sparring youngsters, Dave!

"Children's book illustration" was also my thought. The vivid colors and the texture go well with the image.
