Land of the Fairies, translated from Old Norse and Celtic.   Whilst my thanks and credit for the idea came from Cindy, the Scottish highlands does indeed have a long association with the Norse Vikings.

Thought a little play with Topaz, being a blend of three programs and a little of reduction in some parts with layers and opacity.  Wider view of Carrbridge.  (The bridge to me, seemed rather large build wise, but not particularly useful if you wanted to walk across it).  Lasted well though!

Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thank you for looking and hope all safe.

Oh, my! Super mysterious an somewhat spooky! Love the way everything seems to be in motion. The foreground rocks take on an ominous look- I'm sure there's a Troll under one of them! On the other hand, perhaps the good fairies will prevail in the golden light and shining skies!

Wonderful stuff, Dave- i love both versions of this wonderful place.

Stay safe your self!

I agree, a wonderful piece of art with Trolls and Fairies near, Dave. Brilliant.

I love it. To me, the white streaks are just a bit too bright but otherwise this is really cool.

Love this!  The mystical, shimmering effect makes me think of the fragile link between this world and the next..........as Cindy said, everything seems to be in motion..... do we step forward, through the bridge to the next world?  Or are they stepping through this portal and into ours?.......  :)
