I see this as a very deeply felt and poignant memorial to the horrors of Auschwitz and the Holocaust, Rachel  We must never forget a time of such barbarity, that should never have happened, and a time that must never be allowed to happen again.  Your image is incredibly moving and beautifully done.

Spot-on, Carol. After Rachel told me about the image, I withdrew my original post. Actually, the stones are Jewish grave markers and the train tracks were to Auschwitz. Very creative and beautiful piece.

What a strong and poignant piece of art, Rachel. It is so important that we not forget...you have created a beautiful memorial. Thank you!
