A very nice portrait, Rachel. The background texture is lovely, and I'm glad you left the heron's head natural. Although the tail and legs are clipped, it doesn't seem to bother me. Beautiful portrait.

An elegant rendition, Rachel- beautifully posed with a very nice background texture and lovely the way the eye and beak stand out naturally. It looks like it's just walking into the scene-perhaps strutting a bit. :) Or...maybe just posing for it' portrait. Nice work!
