Beautiful sidelight, and I love the shadow of the birds head cast upon its wing. Nice action pose catching the foot out of the water. I like the soft treatment applied to the upper two-thirds of the image and the sharper treatment below, which allowed you to display the water droplets being kicked up by the foot. A very creative image and nicely done!

This is very pleasing and well done. The soft approach to the bird is beautifully enhanced by the shadow on the wing-the most striking feature in my mind. The lifted foot and splashes also make for some nice detail. The dark background also helps to bring out the glowing bird. You should be very proud of this one!
