This is very cool, Rachel. My first thought was that this is snow, but seeing the underlying leaf structure I decided it was a technique to make it look like snow. I would be interested in knowing how you accomplished this. It is beautiful notwithstanding how you created it.

I really like the graphic effect- looks like a woodcut print- really nicely designed with pleasing patterns and shapes. I see snow or leaves, or both- very clever to make a winter scene of this. The effect is excellent! Well done!

This makes me think of a black and white negative from the film days! It has the sort of quality found on metal etched/engraved images. Certainly different, Rachel!
