Hmmm-this looks familiar! ;). Lovely transition from the original photo. I like the blending of colors and the addition of textures around the bird. I think the texture echos the impression of flight beautifully. The bird blends in somewhat, but also maintains it's lovely shape. A very pleasing and attractive creation!

I agree, and love the background texture as well.
