I pass by this denizen frequently on my walks in the woods. He always beckons, so I answered the call. He is a survivor-nose is a little broken, but he's always there to greet me. I think his ancestor was a dragon, even though he is ...well.... basically wooden. He may look fierce, but really he is quite harmless.

Appropriately, I used Topaz Impression/Cave Dweller app (with a few tweaks of my own), though I've never seen him go into his cave. Perhaps he dwells there in the dark of night. 8).

What a wonderful story and abstract image, Cindy. While I can see his ancestor was a dragon, this fellow appears like an alligator to me. The eye, left fore-leg, and long snout are all present and convincing. I love the textures you achieved with the Cave Dweller App. Very creative and beautifully done.

You have a great eye for spotting these creatures in your woodland walks!  I'm with Ron in seeing more alligator than dragon - but there is some merging going on with the body form.......... maybe a dragator.... or an alligon........  :D

Certainly a worthy addition to your myths and mystery menagerie, and I can see there is more than one creative story teller in your family!

Interesting cave dweller you've created there. Bet he/she makes lots of people stop in their tracks for a closer look!

  Nobody I know goes that way, and he is really quite shy. Here is his original, unadorned persona/camouflage.
