Took this today in the rain, and thought I'd try the old Orton technique on it. (You can see my tutorial for this if you go to "Announcements" , top right in P&DA, then look under "Techniques". ) Some other good stuff there too. It is a little tricky to get the desired glowing effect- not sure I got just right this time....
I added a little grain, vignette and a few other tweaks. Looks a little dull unless you click on the full version. D500, Tamron 150-600, 1/2500, f/6.3,ISO 2000 By the way, Gary Briney worked incredibly hard to to put all these "techniques"together-we had fun with them. Some don't work now- an unfinished project. I miss him! He is gone, to be forever with his beloved daylilies, or so would like to imagine. Perhaps this is created in his memory, now that I think of it.
