Was looking through old photos and found this little cutie. You can see the seed hull wedged in the tree behind ...her, perhaps, given the lighter cap.
Used Topaz Impression and modified it some.

Canon 30D, 300 f/4, 1/800, f/5.6,ISO 400

I love Nuthatches, Cindy. And this is a beauty! You are to be commended for the natural painterly appearance of your image. Great brush work with Topaz Impression. I just love the classic “Nuthatch” pose. Wonderful image.

Thanks Ron. Love these little ones- sadly missing in my yard so far this year. Keep hoping for a spring return.
